Method
Step 1: Prep Sauce
Mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and cornflour in small bowl.
Step 2: Season Chicken
Pat chicken dry. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3: Sear
Heat oil in large pan. Sear chicken 4 minutes per side until golden.
Step 4: Add Sauce
Pour sauce over chicken. Simmer 5 minutes, turning chicken to coat.
Step 5: Thicken
Sauce will bubble and thicken. Remove when syrupy.
Step 6: Serve
Over rice. Top with spring onions and sesame seeds.
Tips
Chicken thighs > breast: More flavour, harder to overcook.
Don't crowd the pan: Sear in batches if needed.
Cornflour is key: Creates that glossy, sticky coating.
